The 2^nd International Summer Festival will be held under the slogan “Come together from Jena, Europe, and the World”.

There will be stands of different countries like Nicaragua, Vietnam, Rusia, Siria, Perú, among others, with presentations of their culture, traditional folk music, cuisine, dances and performances. For children there will be thematic workshops as the “Sounds of the Jungle” and for adults the “Experience with the five senses.”

The attraction of the weekend will be invited musicians and bands: “La mula santa”  of Chile with cumbia-rock, “Ghays Mansor & project Damascos”, “La Maga” with Afro-Peruvian rhythms, the band “Musik in Veins” with Russian rock, as well as many others.

Aditionally, associations and initiatives of migrants as well as Jena citizens will be present whose projects contribute to improving the integration of all residents of our city, as well as the construction of a just society free of prejudice. “Verano” is organized mostly by foreigners who seek to engage in close communication with the citizens of Jena and the world.
